Hey everyone. We had such a great time at the bridal show in Jan. It was amazing seeing all the wonderful and talented vendors at the show. At times I felt a little overwhelmed but mostly excited to meet all the couples getting married. The show had a great turn out for us. The coupon we had out at the show was set to expire Feb 1st but we decided to extend it until Friday Feb 12th @5 pm.

Focus Photography is hosting a fundraiser for the March of Dimes, in the form of a model search. The entry fee is $15 and all proceeds go to March of Dimes. 1st place will receive a 20x24 portrait, 2nd place will receive a $100 credit, 3rd place will receive a $75 credit, and all winners will also receive a year-long membership to our picture plan (a $150 value). Model Search 2009 Starts Aug 1st

Hey everyone! We are looking for a few new faces! Starting August 1st, if you are 18 years of age or under, you can enter to win one of the prizes listed above. The last day to enter and be photographed will be October 1st. We will draw the winner on October 15th, 2009. All contestants who enter will get a free consult with a stylist about what to wear and not to wear for your free B&W session. We will post information and photographs on our blog site for people to vote on their favorite model.

Besides the chance to win one of the prizes, winners will be featured on our website. As well as having a brief bio write up on our facebook and blog site. Furthermore, don't be surprised to see your images used in other advertising and publications we advertise in.

Safari Bridal Session

Hey Brides! Check this out.

Something new that we are doing is the Bridal Safari session. It's becoming very popular. Here are some snapshots from the session. We spent about 2 hours with the bride taking her to several inner city locations. What's great about this, is you can't tell that most of these are right downtown in the River Market area. We also provided a hair stylist for her to be able to change her looks, giving her an even more unique look. And in this day and age of digital photographers, a unigue imagery is required to seperate the best from the rest!
